Introduction to MCP: The Model Context Protocol

How MCP enables AI agents to interact with your CMS using a standardized protocol.

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that allows AI agents to interact with tools and data sources in a structured way. Think of it as USB-C for AI — one protocol, many tools.

Our MCP server exposes 6 tools: query content, get schema, run audits, create, update, and publish entries. Any MCP-compatible client — Claude Desktop, Continue.dev, custom agents — can use these tools.

Security First

MCP access is gated behind authentication, rate limiting, UID allowlists, and schema validation. Your content is safe.
